SkillsMatch embraces a Social Innovation approach
To achieve their objectives, the project embraces a social innovation strategy with the aim to identify and encourage participation of those in the society who can contribute to the development, evaluation, uptake and exploitation of the project results, taking into consideration citizens at risk of exclusion in Europe (e.g. unemployed youth). The social innovation approach aims at addressing the real needs that are rooted in the society, by involving the citizens, in order to understand their needs, resources and general aims.
The project puts at the disposal of the community two tools: a repository of documents of interest and a discussion forum for the open exchange of knowledge and advice.
A Community of Interest will be organised in every participating country in the form of Pilots. Pilots gather groups of people to conduct small scale preliminary evaluation and improvement studies that go along the development of the project.
Available in the project website, the repository will serve as a source of information for all interested parties. This will draw end users and practitioners into the project social innovation activities.
An online discussion site where people could hold conversations in the form of posted messages about NC skills topics.
Depending on the forum’s areas, users have to register with the forum and then subsequently login in order to post messages.
